Happiness Hill Ministries is an Independent, Fundamental Baptist ministry which reaches out to the young people of America through Happiness Hill Christian Home & Academy and Solid Rock Boy's Home.  They are a local church ministry out of Maranatha Baptist Church.  Both are located in Union, MS. with the homes being approximately 5 miles apart. These two homes are operated by Dr. Jack L. High who has over 30 years of experience with youth homes.

Happiness Hill is a home for young ladies between the ages of 13-17 years old and is for young ladies who want and are willing to receive help.  It was founded in 1991 by Raymond & Kaye Palmer and Dr. & Mrs. High took directorship over in 2001.  Many of the young ladies we have are ones who have been abused, neglected, and unwanted.  Since it's founding, Happiness Hill has fed, clothed, housed, and loved many young ladies.  We accept young ladies from all kinds of backgrounds.  Some may be caught up in alcohol, drugs, hanging with the wrong crowd, rebellion, and some may just have no one to care for them.

Solid Rock Boy's Home is a home for young boys who are 6-12 years old and who want help in life.  Dr. High had the burden for several years to start this home and in 2006 he founded this home.  Construction is still under way but plans are being made to officially open in the Spring or Summer of 2008.

At the Happiness Hill Ministries, we do practice strong Christian beliefs. We are an Independent, Fundamental, Old Fashioned home who stands on the King James Bible as our authority and guide. We believe salvation by grace is the biblical way to Heaven. We teach our young ladies & boys to put their trust in God and allow Him to have his will in their life. Each young person stays for at least one year or longer as each situation is different.
Dr. Jack High, the director & president, is a God-called preacher who lives by faith and trust God for everything. Our goal is to see each young person allow the Lord and our staff to help them in life. We truly love these young people and want to show them love and a better way to live.

..."This was the best decision that we made concerning our daughter Rachel. She was saved while at Happiness Hill and was loved, taken care of, respected and taught respect, learned to serve others and to be considerate of others, and countless other lessons that helped her grow spiritually and as a person. The staff is the best and very helpful, and knowledgeable. We asked their advice many times and followed it. They are very wise because of all their experience, not only with their own kids but with all the girls they have ministered too."
- Jeff and Dana Sutton, Anniston, Alabama

..."First, I'd like to say that having to make the decision to bring our daughter to
a girl's home was the hardest choice we have ever had to make! But, through
much prayer and petitions to the Lord, we knew this was best. God is Almighty
and He knew what our daughter needed. He knew what our family needed.
He used the High's and the staff at Happiness Hill to bring us closer to Him and
in our daughter's case, to save her soul! If you are considering Happiness Hill
for your daughter- I think you are making a good choice. Ask the Lord if it's right
and He will let you know!" -Mrs. Buck, Waupaca, Wisconsin
